Steven A. Zelei, Sr., 76, died September 4, 2006 after a long illness. He was born in Hungary, came to the U. S. in 1959 and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls for 46 years. He worked for Diamler/Chryser as an electrician, retiring in 1995 with 28 years of service, was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church and loved gardening, fishing and most of all traveling.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Margaret and Josef; brothers, Josef and Gaspar and loving older sisters, Margaret, Elizabeth and Kathleen and also his beloved son, Steven A. Zelei, Jr. whose unexpected death in 2004 has been a tremendous loss. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Margaret; sisters, Maria, Barbara and Patricia in Hungary and close relative, Dr. Rita Zelei and members of the Zelei family in the U. S. Steve will be deeply missed by is loving family and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr James Hodsden, Dr. Roseanne DiLauro, Clinical Director of Cardiac Research (Debbie Hudock), and Visiting Nurses, Scott Day and Nancy Abbott. And special thanks to Steve's angels, Alexia, Julie and Sandy. They have all been a special blessing to him and his wife.
