Suzanne Semonin

AKRON- Suzanne Semonin, 73, passed away May 29, 2018.
Susie was diagnosed with lung cancer in May of 2017. She fought her illness everyday with courage and a positive attitude that inspired her family and made them very proud. Susie retired from GOJO Ind. with 30 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, visiting different casinos and shopping, but most of all she enjoyed weekly family dinners and playing cards.

Preceded in death by her father, John Walter and special friend, Bonnie Derita; she is survived by mother, Geneva Walter; loving partner of 25 years, Grace Dickerhoof; children, Sherri (Brad Tews) Yuncker and David (Jean Mathews) Semonin; grandchildren, Raegan and Ivy Yuncker; sister, Patricia (John) Mackey; nephews, Chris Mosey and Richard (Holly) Mackey; special friends, Glenda, Paula and Jill.

The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their loving assistance.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM on Friday June 1, 2018 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, where a funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday June 2.
