CUYAHOGA FALLS - Syd T. Baker, 85, passed away December, 20, 2016.
He was a life-long Cuyahoga Falls resident. Syd graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1949 and went on to work as a foreman at Ohio Bell, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Cuyahoga Falls Lions Club and the Eagles #2207.
He is survived by his wife, Alice of 68 years; children, Lynn (Harvey) Plummer, Valorie Duncan and John (Glenda); grandchildren, Adrianne Nielsen and Bryan Duncan; great-grandchildren, Caylah and Kane Morrow; sister, Shirley (Glenn) Smith and brother, Richard (Donna) Baker.
Cremation has taken place and the family will be having private services. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
