Cuyahoga Falls- Terry Lynn Kelley (Troxell), 67, born January 5th 1955 took the hand of our Lord on Saturday May 14th, 2022.
Terry Lynn , “Ter-Bear,” Ter-ma, Matriarch and caretaker of the Troxell-Kelley clans, will be missed beyond what words can capably describe.
Terry leaves to this earth the love of her life, husband and best friend, retired Naval veteran Dr. Michael Kelley; her beloved sons, Paul Kelley, Esq. and Dr. Alexander Kelley, LCDR USN; loving daughter in law, Ashley Kelley; two ever joyous and beautiful grandchildren, Charleigh and Riley Kelley; Paul’s darling partner, Jennifer Hughes; and Terry’s beloved tribe of brothers and sisters, their loving husbands and wives, Paul and Pam Troxell, Allison and Chuck Nettle, Eric and Mary Jo Troxell, and Matt and Julie Troxell along with all her nieces and nephews whom she adored and cherished; caring brothers in law and sister in law, Drs. Ralph and Terri Kelley and Jerry Kelley; and her lifelong friends, Susan, Debbie, and Peggy together with many other friends and family.
Ter-Bear spent a great majority of her life here in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio born to United States Marine and Willie Nelson Impersonator, Frederick Troxell, and locally treasured pistol and spitfire, Dona Estep (formerly Troxell) with whom she now rejoices in the ever-after.
Later in life Terry took to loving the beach life in South Carolina before returning home to the Falls to spend her final year comforted and visited by the entirety of her loving family.
A lifelong Beatles aficionado - Terry enjoyed camping at Jellystone Park, celebrating New Year’s Eve competing for the Golden Spam Trophy in heated Lip-Sync competition, she treasured Christmas Eve gatherings at her beloved mother’s home while Santa Claus himself (Pop-Pop) passed out candy to children from his front-yard sleigh.
And she enjoyed holding court at that round table on Providence Blvd. where she counseled, countless times, her loved ones with her timeless wisdom and larger than life heart.
To say she will be missed cannot even begin to adequately express the loss that now ripples through the family and friends she leaves behind.
But smile. Remember all the good times with her - and do remind yourselves, in times of trouble,
Mother Terry comes to me: …speaking words of wisdom
Let it Be.
