Thelma Hazell

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Thelma J. Hazell, 78, passed away August 11, 2016. She was born and grew up in Akron, graduating from North High School in 1955. After meeting her husband on blind date they married and resided in Cuyahoga Falls, where they raised their family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Mable Hardy; sister, Marilyn Payton; she is survived by her husband Stan R. of 59 years; sons, Scott and Kent (Amy); and Niece, Beth (Jeff) Neiger.

Friends may call 2 hours prior to a 4 PM funeral service on Sunday August 14, 2016 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Monday August 15 at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park 2613 Sackett Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44223. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue 1929 W Market St. Akron, OH, 44313. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
