Thomas Amadio

STOW - Thomas E. Amadio, 94, passed away September 29, 2014. He was born in Struthers, OH and resided in Stow for the past 25 years and Cuyahoga Falls prior to that. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and was an avid golfer and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Sally of 63 years; children, Mary (Tom) Laskowski and John (Janet); grandchildren, Meggan (Daniel), Rebecca (Craig), Emily (Adam), Ruth and Rachel; great-grandchild, Elsie; siblings, Paul C. and Georgia (Bill) Norling.
Friends may call one hour prior to a 12:00 PM memorial service on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Stow United Methodist Church, 4880 Fishcreek Rd. Stow, OH, 44224. Inurnment Silver Springs Cemetery in Stow. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to Akron General Hospice c/o Akron General Foundation, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, OH 44307-2463.
