Thomas R. Mierau, 75, died June 22, 2017.
Thomas was born in Akron and lived most of his life in the Akron area. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1960. He was an Army veteran and a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Massillon.
He retired from Schantz Organ Company with over 50 years of service.
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie. He is survived by sister Marilyn Turner and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Chorus for Cause, Massillon, Ohio 44647. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
