Thomas Phillips Sr

Norton- Thomas G. Phillips Sr., 74, passed away June 2, 2016. He was born in Akron and resided in Norton for the past 42 years. He retired from the Glaziers and Glass Local Union 1162. Tom was an active member of the Wadsworth Eagles Aerie #2117 and the Portage Lakes Eagles 2736. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing.

Preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth; daughter-in-law, Monica; he is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Thomas and Michael, granddaughter, Jamie Raymond and great-granddaughter, Joscalynn; sisters, Joan Wyatt and Linda Ervin.

Memorial calling will be held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221, where a memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, June 8. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the MS Society of Greater Akron, 710 S Main St., Akron, OH, 44311.
