Thornington Moon

CUYAHOGA FALLS -Thornington J. "Bud" Moon, 83, died July 21, 2004. Mr. Moon was born in Akron and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls most of his life. He retired from Bender and Laudon having worked as a truck mechanic, body man and driver and was a Veteran of WW2 having served with the U. S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Moon and is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirley; daughters, Mary Ann (Keith) Stevic of Kent, Deborah Trego of Akron and Michelle (Will) Leas of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Jim (Carmen) Moon of Kenmore; many grandchildren including Keith Stevic Jr., Keith and Kevin Trego and Cameron Leas; great-grandchildren; sisters, Joann (John) Wilmuth of CA and Dorothy Williamson of Hartville and brother, Robert (Jo) Moon of the Philippines.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00 NOON Saturday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Jeff Mason officiating. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 am Saturday. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
