CUYAHOGA FALLS - Tommy P. Tucker, 83, passed away on April 24, 2018.
He was born in Ft. Worth, TX and lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 40 years. He worked at Goodyear
Tire and Rubber for 36 years. He attended The Church in the Falls for over three
decades, where he served as a deacon and treasurer for many of those years.
Tommy was an ardent walker around the Falls, putting in countless miles on the
sidewalks during fair weather and at the Natatorium during the winter. In his retirement,
Tommy worked as an usher at Canal Park for the Akron Rubberducks. Tommy LOVED
to watch and talk all sports!
Preceded in death by his wife, of 60 years, Beverley; he is survived by daughter, Amy
Pinson of Loganville GA; sons, Michael Tucker of Kansas City, Mo., David Tucker of
Holland, Mi., and Mark Tucker of Lilburn, Ga. Tommy has eleven grandchildren
(Bridgette Doss, Michelle Morris, Rebecca Schoenborn, Megan Newton, Brianna
Santellan, Kimberley Marr, Laura Nolte, Joshua Pinson, Ryan Staray, Kristopher Pinson
and SuSu Pinson) and eleven great-grand children. He also has a surviving sister
Lajuania Hayes of Newark, Tx. and devoted high school friend Don Brock of Fort Worth,
Tx.
A graveside service will be held May 12, 2018 at 10:00 am in Oakwood Cemetery, 2420
Oakwood Dr. Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221. Visitation will be held at the Church in the
Falls, 837 Chestnut Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221 on May 12, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00
pm. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Haven of Rest Ministries
in Akron, OH. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
