Vera Prinzo

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Vera (Ocker) Prinzo, 93, passed October 28, 2017.

Born June 21, 1924 to the late Harry and Cora Adele Ocker and was a lifelong Cuyahoga Falls resident. Vera worked for Hanna's Pharmacy, Peoples Drug and for the Lions Club of Akron. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, St. Theresa's Guild and enjoyed volunteer work especially for the soup kitchen. Vera loved dancing, playing cards, crocheting and Bingo.

Preceded in death by husband, Pat; daughter, Phyllis Prinzo; brothers, Edward, Donald, Harry and Jack Lee Ocker; sister, Betty Kennedy. She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Stew) Hudson and Arlene Jiamboi; son, Patric; grandchildren, Jolynn Jiamboi, Stacie Hudson, Michael Hudson, Samantha (Zach) Rohrbough, Anthony Prinzo, Jonathan (Bobbie) Prinzo and Matthew (Tara) Prinzo; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Sirenatie, Sa'Nyah, Adrianna, Isabella, Camrin, Layannah; sisters, Norma Darrow and Eunice Johnson; sister-in-law, Theresa Prinzo and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday November 2, 2017 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday November 3 at St. John's Episcopal Church 2220 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
