Verdean Moore

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Verdean L. Moore died in peace at age 79 surrounded by loving family on August 15, 2007. Born June 26, 1928 in Donora, PA, she resided in Cuyahoga Falls since 1962. She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years Robert "Bob" Moore, brother Wade, mother Cornelia, father Wade H. Boyd and first husband of 18 years, Harry J. Ostapowicz, who died in 1974. She is survived by her brother, William (Roseanne) Boyd of Ft. Myers, FL; children, Harry (Marie) Ostapowicz of Akron, Donald (Joyce Johnson) Ostapowicz of Copley, David (Jackie) Moore of Cuyahoga Falls, Starlett Lyn Jensen of North Canton, James T. (Elizabeth) Moore of Dover; grandchildren, Harry Jr.(Erika), Vince, Lisa, Peter, Kevin, Jackson, Brittany, Zeke, Eric, Kelly, Megan; great-grandchildren, Travis, Jocelyn, Regan and McKenna and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Traditions at Bath Road for their love, care and support. There will be no calling hours. A public memorial service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, August 17 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. A private burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
