CUYAHOGA FALLS - Wallace D. Tiller, 74, passed away May 19, 2016 after a long illness.
He was born on July 30, 1941 in Council, VA (Tiller Town). He moved to Cuyahoga Falls at 18 and worked at Ford Motor Company for 47 years at Walton Hills where he was known as "Wild Bill".
Preceded in death by his parents,, William Ezra and Beatrice Tiller; siblings, Maggie Edith Tiller, Clara Ann Tiller and Garner Tiller and Ralph Tiller, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Lynn (Thompson) Tiller; children, Wally (Sarah) Tiller of Stow, William "Casey" (Julie) Tiller of Stow and Daniel (Yarka) Tiller of Hamburg, NY; grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Brady, Courtney, Danielle, Miranda and Madison, who were his pride and joy; brother Chapman Tiller of Akron; sister-in-law Nellie Tiller; brothers-in-law, Buck, James, Terry, Jerry and Steve (Beverly) Thompson and many cousins, nieces nephews and furry best friend, Jasper.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday May 22 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted Monday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Streetsboro. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S. Main St, Munroe Falls, OH 44262. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
