Warren Oblisk

MUNROE FALLS -Warren E. Oblisk, 79, died at his residence October 19, 2010. Mr. Oblisk was born in Akron, raised in Cuyahoga Falls and resided in Munroe Falls since 1952. He had worked as a carpenter out of Carpenters Local 639, had worked for Ruhlin Construction for 25 years and had served with the U. S. Navy.

Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mazie Oblisk, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mabel; children, Linda Bosanac, Edward Oblisk (Becky), Dianna Roberts (Tom), Randy Oblisk (Bernie), Keith Oblisk (Terri), Reese Oblisk (Sue) and Sheila O. Yen; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and brothers and sisters, Loretta Smith, David Oblisk (Carol), Esther Smith (Bob), Kenny Oblisk (Nancy) and Eleanor Jones (Don) and many nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 21 in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, Oct. 22, Pastor Mark Lattimer officiating. Interment Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa 444 N. Main St. P.O. Box 2090 Akron, OH 44398-6153.
