Waymon Carter

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Waymon L. Carter, 68, passed away at home on May 22, 2016. He was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 15 years. Waymon was known for his sense of humor and love of flashlights. His favorite places were Disney World and Niagara Falls. His favorite past-time was spoiling his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Wilma and Jimmie Kaniadakis; he is survived by his wife, Joyce of 48 years; children, Andrea (Eric) Williams, Bronwyn (Nicholas) Mogen, Daniel Carter and Morgan Carter; grandchildren, Melanie (Curt), Miranda, Andrea, Rylie and Brenna; great-grandson, Christian.

Memorial calling will be held from 6-8 on Thursday May 26, 2016 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 27, 2016 at the Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 130 Broad Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Edward Schadle will be officiating. Private Inurnment will be at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Pilgrim United Church of Christ Free Community Lunch Program.
