Wayne Fawley

Wayne Fawley, 54 , passed away April 12, 2011. Wayne was born in Akron, Ohio on August 18, 1956. He was retired from the Summit County Engineer's Department with over 25 years with the Road Department and had served in the U.S. Army.

"Wayne-O" to his friends, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and fishing trips on Lake Erie.

Preceded in death by mother, Wilma M. Fawley, he is survived by his father, Gene (Judy) Fawley of Pensacola, FL; brothers, Terry (Alice) Fawley of Cuyahoga Falls and Dale (Paula) Fawley of Cumberland, OH; and three nephews Christopher, Ryan, and Justin.

The family wishes to thank the ICU and Palliative Care Staff at Akron City Hospital for their special care of Wayne.

Friends may call one hour prior to a Memorial Service which will be held on Friday, April 15 at 6:00 pm in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, Rev. Ron Spore officiating. Inurnment will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa, PO Box 2020, Akron, OH 44398-6153 in his memory.
