Wayne "Hank" Dement

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Wayne “Hank” J. Dement, 99, passed away April 23, 2021. He was born in Canton and resided in Cuyahoga Falls. Hank was a 1940 graduate of North High School going on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. He attended the Central Academy of Art and the Chicago Art School. Hank worked as a Commercial Artist for Quackenbush Studio for 10 years and went on to retire from Artist Inc. after 26 years. He was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church and was an avid golfer who loved playing his favorite course Fox Den.

Preceded in death by his wife, Marian; sister, Delores Smith; he is survived by his children, Lynn (Scott) Alberts, James Dement, Christine (Michael Tarase) Dement, David (Jessica) Dement and Jeanine (Scott) Hill; grandchildren, Jeffrey Dement, Eric Alberts, Austin King, Hannah King, Bradley Dement, Kara Dement, Jason Dement, Madison Dement and Hunter Hill; 3 great-grandchildren and sister, Carol (Chip) Willaman

The family will be having private services. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to St. Eugene Catholic Church 1821 Munroe Falls Ave. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
