Wilford Lutz Jr

CUYAHOGA FALLS - Wilford (Bill) I. Lutz, Jr., 85, passed away September 21, 2015. He was born in Akron and was a Cuyahoga Falls resident most of his life. He served in the US Navy, was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, a 60 year member of the Grand Lodge of Free Accepted Masons of Ohio, Tadmor Shrine and past president of the FOPA. After having his own insurance business, he went to work as an account executive for Wichert Ins. Co.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn; children Diane (David) Myers, Dana Carruthers, William Roderick; grandchildren Kevin and Nicholas Carruthers, Jonathan Zito, Christopher (Liliana) Zuchegno, Patrick (Kristen) Zuchegno, Kimberly Zuchegno, Lauren Dellosa; great grandchildren Vincent, Natalie, Isabella, James and Lane; sister Mary Williams.

A Memorial Service will be held in St. Stephens Lutheran Church, 3725 Kent Rd, Stow on Sunday, Sept 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm. Pastor Landis Coffman officiating. Inurnment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to St. Stephens Lutheran Church. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
