CUYAHOGA FALLS – It is with great sadness that the family of William Bryan, 68, announce his passing on August 8, 2021. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls and was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. After marrying the love of his life, Gail, he moved to Ravenna where he spent the past 43 years. He worked as supervisor for First Energy retiring after 44 years of service.
Bill met his wife/best friend in May 1971 in Munroe Falls and they married August 20th, 1971 and had 3 beautiful children that he was very proud of or as he would say “I couldn’t be more proud of my family.”
Bill built his dream cabin in 2020 that he called his “Retreat” where he enjoyed hunting, four wheeling and being with his family. This was the place that him and his wife built over the last year and he couldn’t wait for his family to be together.
Everyone who knew Bill knows that he was a brilliant hard worker and was always willing to give his knowledge, experience and a helping hand to anyone, especially his children. He taught them all the life-long skills for building and fixing everything. He loved being a Papa to his four grandchildren. Bill loved spending time with a special group of friends. He was the world’s greatest husband, dad, papa, brother, brother in law, father in law and friend that anyone could ever ask for and will be missed every day.

Bryan and mother, Avril Bryan Meloy; he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Gail; children, Tammie Richards, William Bryan, Krystle Short and their spouses; grandchildren, Summer Habowski, Paige Habowski, Billy Bryan and Bennett Short; and sister, Victoria (Terry) Seger.
