STOW - William Jack "Paw Paw" Clayman, 73, passed away July 8, 2017.
Jack was born in Bedford, OH to Adelbert and Anne (Pavlina) Clayman.
The world has lost a giant among men when the angels came to take Jack to his reward in Heaven.
He was an avid golfer, fisherman and ultimate family man. He was loved by everyone for his kind and gentle ways. Everyone who knew Jack was amazed by his strength of mind, body, soul and character.
He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force where the highlight of his service was being given a personal tour of Air Force One by President John F. Kennedy.
He was a truck driver for over 40 years with Kroger, Seaway Foods and Roadway Express. After retiring from Roadway in 2003, he drove school bus for Stow-Munroe Falls schools for 7 years.
He is preceded in death by his brothers Charles and John Clayman. He is survived by his loving family and wife of 31 years, Carol Fleming Clayman; children, Charles (Robyn) Clayman, Colleen Caudill, Kim (Pam) Visher, Sarah (Andy) Herrmann and Richmond (Karen) Neupert; grandchildren, Brandon (Leslie) Caudill, Dustin Caudill, Cole Neupert, Max Neupert, Elliott Neupert, Serena Herrmann, and great grandson, David Michael Caudill. Loving four-legged companion, Katie, and dear friend, Jim (Betty) Hale. Also survived by siblings, George (Peg) Clayman, Donna Woljevich, Sallie Bowser, Mary White, Dale Anne (Nelson) McClure, as well as many nieces, nephews and grand-fur babies.
Special thanks to extended family Wilma Reschetar, Erin, Pete and Evan Quintero and Gatha Chambers for their love and support. Also thanks to SarahCare of Stow, Heritage of Hudson and VNS Hospice for their loving care.
Private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
