William Hilston

CUYAHOGA FALLS - William A. Hilston passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at home with his family surrounding him. He was 64. He was born on May 28, 1953 to Dick and Gladys Hilston. He attended Falls Schools, where after graduation he went to serve his country in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy. In 1974 he married the love of his life Michelle (McGowan). They have been married 42 years. Together they had two children, Courtney and Andrew (Heather). Bill was a business owner and put his all into it. He was a loyal and hardworking man. He loved his family more than anything. His grandchildren Bridget, Jasmine, Damian and Nicholas were his pride and joy. He is also survived by two sisters Ellen (Jerry) and Kim (Dan). Whether you knew him as William, Bill, Billy, Wild Bill or Willy Lump Lump, you couldn't help but to love and respect the great man he was. He will be greatly missed. Do good, Be good, Learn something. We love you. A celebration of life will be held at the family home on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1 p.m. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
