William J. Mark, 74, died at his residence March 24, 2005. Mr. Mark was born in Catsaqua, PA and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls the past 30 years and in Barberton most of his life. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox as a contract estimator with 39 years service and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served with the U. S. Navy, was a member of the VFW Post 7035 in Avon, OH, the WW2 Memorial Society and was an avid golfer and bowler on B&W leagues.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Connie; daughters, Noelle Lowe of Alabama and Marlo (Mike) Schmidt of Akron; brother, P. J. Mark of Avon and sister, Marianne McCartor of Barberton.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Monday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am Tuesday at St. Joseph's. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. A Military Service will be conducted by VFW Ralph Huff Post 1062. The Family requests memorials be made to St. Joseph's Music Fund.
