CUYAHOGA FALLS - William "Bill" D. Wain, 68, passed away October 23, 2015. He was born in Akron and was a Cuyahoga Falls resident for 25 years. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1965, going on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Bill drove for Paint Valley Hardwoods in Beach City for over 15 years. He was an avid sports fan pitching for Falls High and loved Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Florence; he is survived by his sister, Patricia (Bob) McQuillan of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, Larry Wain of Akron; many cousins and good friends, Eddy and Freeman Yoder and their families of Beach City, OH.
Cremation has taken place and the family will hold private services. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron 7996 Darrow Rd. Twinsburg, OH, 44087. Services entrusted to Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-928-2147.
