Willis Myers

NORTHAMPTON - Willis Milton Myers, 96 passed away August 6, 2011.
Mr. Myers was born May 29, 1915 in Northampton Township where he resided all of his life. Willis had a passion for serving and volunteering at the Summit County Fair. He also enjoyed many years of showing Draft ponies and horses at various fairs, where he made lasting friendships with other exhibitors. Willis' farming lineage goes back to one of the first three settlers of Northampton Township.

Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Eva G. Newlon Myers, sister Audree Scott and brother Ward Myers, he is survived by three sons, Ronnie (Sally) Myers of Northampton, Spank (Nancy) Myers of Northampton and Terry (Theresa) Myers of Northampton; daughter, Karen (Don) Hartshorn of Creston; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, Dr. Richard A.
